A 22-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a freight train in Tashkent, as reported on the program “Millar”.
The incident occurred on April 25 at around 2:00 AM between the Jaloyir and Sergeli railway stations. According to a railway employee, the accident happened during the night shift.
Before the train's movement, a warning signal was given and the crossing was closed. Despite this, the train driver stated that he saw the person about 500 meters ahead but was unable to stop and ran over him.
