Reports emerged from the Ohangaron district of Tashkent region about alleged unlawful actions against a girl born in 2011. The Children's Ombudsman of Uzbekistan announced it has taken the situation under its supervision.
The Ombudsman stated it will continue monitoring the minor's interests and will provide additional information later. An internal investigation has been launched by the Internal Affairs Department (IIB), and the Ohangaron city prosecutor's office is conducting a pre-investigation check.
The Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs (IIBB) denied reports that a patrol officer (PPX) harassed a 14-year-old girl. According to the department, the incident occurred on April 27 at approximately 00:40.
The PPX officer received a call from his acquaintance, 22-year-old A.K., who asked for advice. When he arrived, A.K. and her 14-year-old friend got into his car. At that moment, 18-year-old A.Kh., who recorded a video, arrived with four acquaintances, insulted the officer, and started a quarrel. The IIBB noted that A.Kh. is not a relative of the girl.
