By a decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Giyosiddin Rejabov Qutbiddinovich has been appointed as the President's representative for cultural affairs. The announcement was made by presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

Prior to this appointment, Rejabov served as head of a sector in the Department of Creative Economy and Tourism under the Presidential Administration. His new responsibilities include coordinating state policy in the cultural sphere and supporting creative initiatives.

It was previously reported that on March 16, Muzaffar Kamilov was appointed as head of the Department for Religious and Educational Affairs of the Presidential Administration. In connection with this appointment, he was relieved of his position as deputy advisor to the president on issues of representative bodies, non-governmental non-profit organizations, religion, and youth.
