A new regulation by the Cabinet of Ministers has established an electronic application procedure for retrieving vehicles from impound lots through the State Traffic Safety Service.

Drivers can now submit requests via the my.gov.uz portal, the State Traffic Safety Service's special mobile app, or through public service centers.

During the application process, the system automatically verifies the citizen's data and whether the reasons for vehicle detention have been resolved.

If the violation has been rectified or a legal decision has been made on the administrative case, the applicant receives a notification within one business day authorizing the vehicle's release from the impound lot.

This innovation aims to improve convenience for drivers, reduce unnecessary time spent, and further digitize public services in Uzbekistan.
