Universal Pictures, one of Hollywood's oldest film studios, was founded in 1912 through the merger of the Independent Moving Pictures Company with five other companies. The studio, now part of NBCUniversal, was originally called the Universal Film Manufacturing Company.

Owning subsidiaries such as DreamWorks Animation and Working Title Films, Universal Pictures also collaborates with Amblin Partners and United International Pictures. It has produced blockbuster franchises like “Fast & Furious,” “Jurassic Park,” and “Back to the Future,” as well as award-winning films such as “Schindler's List” and “Oppenheimer.”

To mark the occasion, Gazeta has prepared a quiz based on films created with Universal Pictures' involvement (including those distributed by the company).
