On April 29, a brutal crime occurred in the city of Shirin, Syrdarya region. A 29-year-old woman, identified as N.Kh., who was in a religious marriage with a man, broke into the home of his legal wife, M.S., and stabbed her and her two daughters (aged 5 and 3) multiple times.

As a result, M.S. and her 5-year-old daughter died at the scene. The 3-year-old girl was hospitalized in critical condition in the intensive care unit. The suspect fled but was later apprehended.

The victim's father stated that his daughter was originally from Bekabad, Tashkent region, and her husband lives in Syrdarya. She left behind four children: an 8-year-old son and a 20-day-old infant. He is requesting that the remaining children be placed under the care of relatives.

The victim's niece recounted that the woman was doing laundry at home when she was attacked. Her daughters ran to her screams and were also stabbed.

The press secretary of the Prosecutor General confirmed the incident. A criminal case has been opened under Article 97, Part 2, paragraphs 'a, v, zh' of the Criminal Code. The suspect has been detained.
