According to Uzgidromet, spring weather is expected in Uzbekistan during the first days of May. Most of the country will experience rain and thunderstorms.

No precipitation is forecast for the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, and northern Navoi region. In Bukhara region and southern Navoi region, the main rains will fall on May 1, while on May 2-3 only brief showers are possible in some areas.

On May 1, wind speeds may increase to 13-18 m/s in some areas, accompanied by dust storms in certain places.

On Friday (May 1), air temperatures will range from +27 to +30°C. Over the weekend (May 2-3), temperatures will drop to +22…+25°C. In northwestern regions, Friday will be the coolest with temperatures around +20…+23°C, but by Sunday the air will warm up to +27…+30°C.

In the foothills and mountainous areas of the republic, intermittent rain is expected from May 1-3, with thunderstorms in some places. Mudflow and flood events may occur.

In Tashkent, brief rain and possible thunderstorms are expected on Friday afternoon. Temperatures will reach +28…+30°C. On Saturday and Sunday, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are likely. Nighttime temperatures will be +13…+15°C, daytime +22…+24°C.

On May 1-2, wind speeds may increase to 10-12 m/s, and dust storms are possible in some parts of the city during the day.
