A tragic incident occurred on April 24 at the Marjonbuloq railway station in the Gallaorol district of Jizzakh region. A 7th-grade student climbed onto the roof of a stationary train wagon to take a photograph and was struck by high-voltage electric current, according to the “Millar” program.
The victim, a boy born in 2012 and a native of Jizzakh region, was immediately rushed by ambulance to a medical facility in Gallaorol district and placed in intensive care.
Medical reports indicate that the teenager sustained second and third-degree burns covering 35-40% of his body surface. His condition is described as critical.
The Transport Security Department of Jizzakh region has launched a pre-investigation into the incident. Authorities are working to establish all circumstances surrounding the case.
