The Committee for Religious Affairs, in cooperation with the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has launched a Telegram bot called 'Xavfsiz bot' (@dinuzbbot) that allows checking religious materials. This was reported by the committee's press service.
Through the bot, citizens can check whether religious materials have received a religious studies expert opinion, and whether the activities of certain individuals and organizations are legal or prohibited.
According to the committee, the bot was launched to increase legal literacy among the population, especially young people, and to protect them from illegal religious content amid the spread of extremist and radical ideas on the internet and social networks.
To use the bot, users need to enter @dinuzbbot in the Telegram search bar. The platform includes the following sections: 'Check Banned Profiles', 'Check Religious Literature', and 'Banned Persons and Organizations'.
The 'Check Banned Profiles' section provides information on profiles banned by a Supreme Court decision, including the profile name, social network type, conclusion, and supporting documents.
The 'Check Religious Literature' section displays the title, author, publisher, publication date, and the religious studies expert opinion.
Through the 'Banned Persons and Organizations' section, users can obtain information on extremist and terrorist organizations banned by the Supreme Court, as well as on banned individuals.
Additionally, the bot provides access to official websites and information channels of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and other authorized organizations.
