Uzbekistan's tourism sector is poised for new records and opportunities in 2025. The number of foreign tourists visiting the country is increasing, and tourism infrastructure is developing.

According to officials, over 7 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan in 2024. The target for 2025 is 10 million visitors. To achieve this, measures are being taken to build new hotels, expand transport routes, and improve service quality.

Data from the Ministry of Tourism shows that most tourists come from Kazakhstan, Russia, China, and Turkey. There has also been a significant increase in visitors from Europe and the Americas.

Historic cities such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva remain the most popular destinations. The government is implementing various incentives and projects to develop the tourism sector.

Experts believe that tourism growth will positively impact the economy, create jobs, and enhance Uzbekistan's international reputation. However, further improvements in infrastructure and service quality are needed.
