20th Century Fox was founded on May 31, 1935, through the merger of Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures. This union was one of the biggest media events of its time, giving the studio a powerful start.

In 2019, the company was acquired by Disney, and in 2020, the word Fox was removed from its name. Thus, its independent operations ended, but its legacy remains.

The studio's portfolio includes franchises such as Star Wars, Ice Age, Avatar, and Planet of the Apes, along with many other popular films and animations. These movies have attracted millions of viewers worldwide.
