Tom Cruise was born in 1962 in Syracuse, USA. He made his film debut in 1981 with 'Endless Love' and two years later played the lead in 'Risky Business'. His performances in 'Legend', 'Top Gun', and 'The Color of Money' (1985-1986) captivated audiences.

In 1988, he starred in 'Rain Man', followed by 'Days of Thunder' (1990), 'The Firm' (1993), and 'Interview with the Vampire' (1994). He appeared in 'Magnolia' in 1999.

Other successful films include 'Vanilla Sky', 'The Last Samurai', 'Collateral', 'All the Right Moves', and 'Knight and Day'.

His biggest franchise, 'Mission: Impossible', began in 1996, with the sequel in 2000. Parts three through six were released between 2006 and 2018. The latest two installments premiered in 2023-2025.
