Modern humans spend up to 90% of their time indoors and take about 20,000–25,000 breaths daily. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, concentrations of some pollutants can be higher indoors than outdoors. Air quality is often taken for granted, yet it directly impacts quality of life.

Many have noticed: by midday, concentration becomes difficult; after hours indoors, one wants to open a window; in crowded restaurants, fitness clubs, or homes, the air feels heavy. We rarely link this discomfort to air quality, but it shapes our perception of space, energy levels, and daily comfort.

For residents of Tashkent, this issue is particularly relevant. Most of the year, people stay indoors with closed windows and air conditioning, and during high dust periods, air quality becomes even more critical.

Attitudes toward air quality are changing globally. Previously, focus was on ventilation, air conditioning, and filtration systems; today, the emphasis is on creating a comfortable air environment, including maintaining optimal oxygen concentration indoors.

The next standard for modern real estate is not just beautiful interiors but also indoor air quality. Just as we now expect quality water, good sound insulation, or efficient lighting, requirements for air environment are evolving. This global trend is gradually reaching Uzbekistan.

Most modern systems help clean air from dust and pollutants. However, comfort depends not only on cleanliness. When a person spends most of the day indoors, air quality becomes part of spatial perception, like temperature, lighting, or noise level.

New-generation technologies are emerging in many countries that go beyond air purification to create a better air environment. One company developing this direction in Uzbekistan is Oxygenation.

Unlike conventional air purifiers, the system does not store oxygen in cylinders but continuously extracts it from ambient air. Simultaneously, it cleans incoming air from dust, allergens, and pollutants, separates excess nitrogen, and maintains oxygen concentration close to natural levels.

The result is a more comfortable air environment that makes indoor stays more pleasant—whether at work, in a fitness club, hotel, or home. The technology is economical: it operates on standard 220V power, with average consumption of about 500W, comparable to household appliances.

Previously, such solutions were used mainly in large commercial facilities; now oxygen generation technologies are becoming accessible for private homes, apartments, and small commercial spaces.

A few years ago, these technologies were seen as specialized medical solutions. Today, they are expanding far beyond that. In many countries, air quality is already considered a key element of modern space, alongside architecture, engineering systems, and service levels.
