Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Doctors were unable to save the life of traffic police officer Khosilbek Eshnazarov, who was injured in a high-profile traffic accident in the Mirabad district of the capital. The injuries he sustained were fatal.

Eshnazarov was 33 years old and is survived by three children.

The incident occurred on the evening of February 25. The driver of the BMW M4 was a 15-year-old teenager—a 10th-grade student at a private school in Tashkent. Without a driver's license or experience handling a powerful sports car, the minor struck the inspector while he was performing his official duties. An investigation has been launched under Article 266 of the Criminal Code ("Violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation rules"). The investigation is ongoing.
