In Uzbekistan, starting March 1, 2026, the distribution of paper notifications for traffic violations will be temporarily suspended. This was announced by "Uzbekiston pochtasi".

The reason is the absence of a valid contract with the State Institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the development of "Safe City" systems. Without an extended agreement, the postal operator is not authorized to process drivers' personal data or deliver administrative protocols issued by the Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The recording of violations by cameras and radars does not stop – it continues as usual. Only the notification method will change. Since paper letters may not arrive, drivers should be more careful not to miss payment deadlines.

To avoid losing the opportunity to pay fines with a 50% discount within the first 15 days, drivers need to monitor their debts in advance. With paper notifications no longer being sent, electronic channels become the primary source of information.

SMS notifications will be sent to the phone number provided during vehicle registration, allowing for quick updates on new fines. Checks can also be made through the MyGov.uz portal, where all current administrative cases are displayed in the personal account.

Additionally, debts can be tracked through banking applications using the vehicle or registration number. This approach ensures constant access to information and helps avoid missing the discount payment deadline.

"Uzbekiston pochtasi" stated that notification delivery will resume after contractual obligations with the Ministry of Internal Affairs are settled.
