The administrative offense case against Uzbelas Performance auto service employee Asadbek Jumayev has been reviewed on appeal. The first-instance court's decision to impose a fine has been overturned. According to the Tashkent City Court ruling, Jumayev has been sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.

As reported by Supreme Court press service head Aziz Obidov, Jumayev, who stated he was "proud" of his involvement in an incident with two BMWs that disobeyed traffic police demands and boasted about receiving a "small fine" for distributing the video, has been sentenced to administrative arrest.

The Mirzo-Ulugbek district prosecutor's office filed an appeal against the January court decision regarding Jumayev. That ruling had fined Jumayev 20 BJR – 8,420,000 soums.

Today, February 27, the criminal division of the Tashkent City Court reviewed the administrative offense case against Asadbek Jumayev on appeal and overturned the first-instance court's fine decision.

Under the Tashkent City Court decision, Asadbek Jumayev has been sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest under Article 195-2 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (dissemination of photo and/or video images of law enforcement officers with distortion leading to their discreditation).

It was previously reported that the prosecutor's office appealed the court decision in the case of BMWs fleeing from traffic police.
