In Uzbekistan, starting March 1, the delivery of administrative protocols (fine notices) issued by the YHXX Public Security Department for traffic violations will no longer be conducted via postal mail. UzPost announced this change.
The suspension of this service is due to the Ministry of Internal Affairs not signing a contract for 2026 with the state institution for developing "Safe City" systems.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as part of the "Safe City" concept implementation, the delivery of fine decisions will be digitized. This aims to reduce human involvement, enhance reliability, and provide convenience for the public.
Copies of decisions and attached materials will be sent on a trial basis through the following sources:
- If an SMS notification is not received, individuals must register their phone number on the my.gov.uz portal. After registration, all notifications will be sent automatically.
These digital services are available without time restrictions, and no additional registration or document submission is required. The opportunity to review all materials and pay fines within legally established deadlines is available immediately upon the decision's formalization.
