Traffic patrol sergeant Khusilbek Eshnazarov, who died after being struck by a BMW driven by a school student in Tashkent, was buried in Kashkadarya Region.

The funeral ceremony was attended by the deceased's relatives, colleagues, and representatives of the internal affairs authorities. A gun salute was fired in honor of the officer.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs' Public Safety Department released photos from the farewell ceremony.

"The officer's dedication, loyalty to duty, and courage will forever remain in the hearts of our compatriots," the department stated.

Previously, it was reported that charges against the 10th-grade student driving the BMW M4 have been intensified.
