The Tashkent city administration has launched the "Urgent 90-Day" program aimed at implementing a comprehensive set of measures to improve road conditions in the capital. This decision was made following the visit of the Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, to the Tashkent City Road Traffic Organization Center (RTO Center) on February 26.
During the visit, additional priority directions were identified and specific tasks were set to enhance the efficiency of road infrastructure management. Specialists from the RTO Center identified the most congested 472 km of roads in the capital and recommended starting initial measures from these areas.
Work will be carried out in the following directions: optimizing traffic flow, repairing infrastructure, and modernizing the transport system. The RTO Center and city administration expressed confidence that these measures will positively impact the overall situation in the capital's road transport system.
The Tashkent City Road Traffic Organization Center was established as a specialized structure under a Presidential decree in December 2025, focused on systematically improving the capital's transport policy. This week, the RTO Center presented projects to Saida Mirziyoyeva addressing congestion, environmental, and public transport issues. Mirziyoyeva stated she will personally oversee the modernization process of the capital's transport system.
