The Ministry of Justice has amended the regulations on the procedure for filling out and processing passenger customs declarations. According to the "Legal Information" Telegram channel, these changes have been officially registered.

The document stipulates that the electronic form of the passenger customs declaration will be automatically generated in the customs information system via a mobile application. To facilitate citizens, technical errors can be corrected by customs officers.

For goods belonging to individuals under 16 years of age, the passport number of the owner must be indicated in the "goods name" and "item name" columns. Mobile devices must be declared regardless of duty-free import limits, except for devices purchased in Uzbekistan and registered in the system operator's database.

The Customs Committee launched the "Passenger Declaration" mobile app in October last year. The system and app are being tested at Tashkent International Airport, with plans to implement them at all border checkpoints by November 1, 2025.
