Rasuljon Jorayev has been appointed as the governor (hokim) of the Uzbekistan district in the Fergana region. The appointment was reported by the state news agency UzA.
Jorayev was born in 1973 in the Rishtan district. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in 2000.
Prior to his appointment, he had served as the governor of the Beshariq district since 2017. In his new role, he will be responsible for the socio-economic development of the Uzbekistan district.
