Tashkent, May 15 – Podrobno.uz. A fire broke out in an apartment in a multi-story building in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent this afternoon. The blaze was quickly extinguished, and no casualties were reported.
The emergency services received a report of the fire at 4:02 PM on May 15 in one of the apartments of a high-rise building in the "Alimkent" mahalla on Korasuv Street in the Yashnabad district.
Three fire and rescue units arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire by 4:10 PM. The fire was fully extinguished at 4:33 PM.
The fire damaged household items over an area of approximately 15 square meters. According to preliminary data, there were no injuries.
Specialists are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the material damage. Earlier, a major fire was extinguished at a retail outlet in the Yunusabad district of the capital.
