On Wednesday, May 27, Eid al-Adha prayers were held in nearly all mosques of Uzbekistan. Streets adjacent to mosques were temporarily closed, and sermons before the prayer emphasized the importance of celebrating Eid al-Adha properly and spending the day in a good mood.
Journalists of the newspaper prepared a photo report from the capital's mosques "Islomobod" and "Shayx Muhammad Sodiq Muhammad Yusuf". Worshippers visited the mosques in a festive mood and congratulated each other.
Eid prayers and sermons were also held in other mosques in Tashkent. Due to the holiday, traffic jams were observed on the streets, but order was maintained.
