The Uzbekistan U-20 national team has discovered its group stage opponents for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. According to the draw results, the team coached by Jamoliddin Rakhmatullaev was placed in Group B.

Uzbekistan will face Syria, India, and Bangladesh in the qualifying round. The matches are scheduled to take place from August 25 to September 6, 2026, in Tashkent.

Earlier, negotiations were held in Tashkent with a delegation from the English football club Manchester City, during which the parties discussed launching joint projects to develop professional football in Uzbekistan.
