According to the international database Numbeo, a family of four in Tashkent requires approximately 23.5 million UZS per month for expenses excluding rent, while a single person needs nearly 6.5 million UZS.
The calculations are based on data collected by the organization on prices in various cities worldwide. The amount includes daily expenses on food, transport, communication, utilities, leisure, and other basic costs.
Among the specific indicators for Tashkent, dining out costs are listed. A meal at an inexpensive restaurant is estimated at around 70,000 UZS, while a three-course meal for two at a mid-range restaurant is about 400,000 UZS.
The database also provides average communication costs. A mobile tariff is estimated at about 49,000 UZS per month, and home internet at around 150,000 UZS.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan recalculated the minimum subsistence level, which then stood at 715,000 UZS per person per month.
