In the Marhamat district of Andijan region, operatives of the State Security Service detained individuals who were illegally selling 'Keto coffee mix' containing the potent substance sibutramine, which is banned in Uzbekistan.

During a sting operation at a shopping complex in the district center, a citizen born in 1991 was caught red-handed while selling 900 units of 'Keto coffee mix' to an undercover buyer for 6 million soums.

The investigation then led to a shop in the 'Jahon savdo kompleksi' in Andijan city, where the products had been purchased. From the shop, owned by a citizen born in 1987, an additional 480 units of the same coffee were seized.

According to expert analysis, the total weight of the confiscated evidence was 11 kg, and the product was found to contain sibutramine, a potent substance whose circulation is prohibited on the territory of Uzbekistan.
