On June 1, the admission campaign for the 2026-2027 academic year began at non-state higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Enrollment is allowed only for educational programs that have passed state accreditation.

According to current legislation, student admission to private universities is conducted annually from June to September. Starting June 1, documents from applicants for the new academic year are being accepted.

Under existing regulations, students cannot be admitted to programs that lack special state accreditation. Therefore, private universities may only enroll students in accredited fields.

Additionally, from August 1, 2025, maximum admission parameters have been set for each non-state higher education institution. Admission quotas are approved based on the universities' material and technical facilities, teaching potential, and curriculum support.

Earlier, a draft resolution aimed at improving the quality of private educational services was submitted for public discussion. It also proposed holding admissions at private institutions twice a year — by October 15 and February 15.
