President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on certain issues in the defense sector, according to the presidential press service.

The presentation examined the results of reforms implemented in recent years in the Air Defense Forces and the Air Force aimed at strengthening the country's air borders and ensuring border inviolability.

It was noted that troops are being equipped with modern aviation technology, air defense systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The volume of practical flight training has also been increased, and the combat readiness of aviation units is being strengthened.

The presentation discussed measures to introduce a completely new system for protecting air borders and reorganizing military aviation units in line with modern requirements.

It was emphasized that these changes serve to expand the combat capabilities and practical potential of the Air Force, increase the speed and mobility of troops, and enhance the capacity to respond to modern threats.

Special attention was paid to the training of military personnel. Information was provided on the educational conditions created at the Military Aviation Institute in Karshi based on international educational standards, as well as the use of modern simulators and simulation tools.

Additionally, issues of developing cooperation with Turkey in the field of military medicine were considered. Plans include training and retraining of military doctors, joint educational programs, scientific research, and exchange of specialists.

The presentation also discussed proposals for digitalizing the registration of conscripts and the activities of medical and draft commissions. This aims to increase transparency and efficiency of processes and expand convenience for the population.

Furthermore, proposals were made to gradually increase the salaries of civilian employees of defense bodies and increase the amount of housing rental compensation for military personnel in Tashkent and Samarkand.

In conclusion, the head of state outlined priority tasks for further increasing the combat readiness of troops and introducing advanced experience into the military management and education system.
