A technical malfunction occurred on the “Bashnya padeniya” (Falling Tower) ride at the “Orda” amusement park in Jizzakh city on June 10 at approximately 21:44. The incident left four people injured, who were subsequently hospitalized with varying degrees of trauma.

According to the press service of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, the ride was owned by “Niyatjon niyati” LLC, manufactured in 2019, and had 16 seats. Its last technical inspection was conducted on November 5, 2025.

Videos circulating on social media show the collapsed ride and a young child being carried away on a stretcher by National Guard personnel. Witnesses report that the injuries were severe.

Authorities are conducting preliminary investigations and inquiries to determine the exact cause of the accident. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
