Uzbekistan will announce the 'Open Tourism Season' program annually from June to August, according to a presidential decree.
Under the program, foreign and domestic air carriers that open new flights to Uzbekistan will receive partial compensation of expenses from the state budget, as well as a subsidy of $100 for each foreign tourist they attract.
Resident tour operators in Uzbekistan will receive a subsidy of $5,000 for every 1,000 foreign tourists brought from promising foreign countries.
50% of VAT paid for services of tour operators and hotels will be returned as cashback.
Additionally, 50 foreign bloggers with over 5 million followers on social networks will be provided with free 7-day tourist programs to visit Uzbekistan.
