Tashkent will see temporary traffic restrictions on several central streets from June 16 to 18 due to the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, restrictions will affect several key sections. Specifically, traffic will be limited on Islam Karimov Street from the intersection with Sharaf Rashidov Street to Furkat Street.

Changes will also affect Yangi Uzbekistan Street from the bridge at the intersection with Makhtumkuli and Temur Malik streets to the intersection with Istiqlol Street.

Additionally, traffic will be restricted near the Center of Islamic Civilization from the intersection of Sharaf Rashidov and Abdullah Qadiri streets, then along Abdullah Qadiri and Korasoy streets to the intersection of Korasoy and Nurafshon streets.

During this period, only emergency and operational service vehicles will be allowed on these sections. Detour routes will be organized for other drivers.

Notably, from June 16 to 18, entry of cargo vehicles into Tashkent will be completely banned. Trucks will be directed to bypass roads in the Tashkent region.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and account for possible traffic jams.
