The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reported that four Uzbek citizens have died in Turkey over the past three days.
On June 11, a traffic accident on the Northern Marmara Highway in Istanbul claimed the lives of a 31-year-old Uzbek citizen, A.K., his Turkish wife, and their two-month-old child.
On June 12, another traffic accident in the Tuzla district resulted in the death of a 23-year-old Uzbek citizen, N.M., who sustained severe injuries.
On June 13, a 58-year-old Uzbek woman died in a hospital in Istanbul after a long battle with cancer.
The Consulate General expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased.
Currently, the Consulate General, together with the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, is providing necessary consular and legal assistance for the repatriation of the bodies and resolving other organizational matters.
