The Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights has conducted a study on the prices of services at republican specialized scientific-practical medical centers, the press service of the agency reports.

According to the committee, within the framework of inspections launched in April, 8 large medical centers were studied by May. Preliminary results showed that in some cases, the established requirements for tariff formation were not fully complied with.

In this regard, the centers where the study was conducted were given appropriate instructions to revise tariffs in accordance with the current procedure and requirements, as well as to optimize prices.

Additionally, the committee announced that based on the study results, it will develop general proposals to reduce prices in the healthcare system and submit them to authorized state bodies.
