According to the joint-stock company Toshkent shahar suv ta’minoti, drinking water supply will be temporarily suspended in the Bektemir district of the capital from 9:00 a.m. on June 29 to 9:00 a.m. on June 30, 2026.

The shutdown is due to planned work to relocate a section of the drinking water supply network along Okhangaron Shoh Street as part of the construction of a new bridge.

The temporary inconvenience will affect residents of the mahallas Mirishkor, Rokhat, Zilola, Chashma, Ikbol, Mazhnuntol, Abay, Gulbog, Bektemir, Husayn Boykaro, Oltingopgan, Iyk ota, Musaffo, Sokhil, Nurli yol, and Ustozlar.

During this period, 185 apartment buildings and 8,549 private houses will be left without water supply. In addition, water supply will be cut off to 5 medical institutions, 56 industrial enterprises, 1 central and 2 local boiler houses, 3 mosques, and 13 preschool educational organizations.
