According to preliminary results of the population and agriculture census, Uzbekistan has registered 56,860 foreign nationals who have been living in the country for more than one year.

The highest number of foreigners resides in Tashkent — 19,300 people.

The largest group among foreign nationals is Indian citizens — 13,312 people. They are followed by citizens of Russia — 10,826, Kazakhstan — 9,425, Tajikistan — 5,722, Turkmenistan — 5,347, and Kyrgyzstan — 4,397 people.

Additionally, Uzbekistan hosts 1,433 Pakistani citizens, 1,031 Chinese citizens, 811 Turkish citizens, and 691 South Korean citizens. Another 3,865 people arrived from other countries.
