The Tashkent Traffic Safety Department (UBDD) has released new details about the fatal accident at the intersection of Amir Temur and Bogishamol streets. It turned out that minors were driving the Zeekr and KIA vehicles.
Following the tragedy, the head of the Tashkent UBDD held a meeting dedicated to the circumstances of the accident. Additionally, department officers began preventive work in the mahalla where the minor participants reside.
The UBDD reminded parents of the inadmissibility of allowing minors to drive. Full official information on this road traffic incident will be provided later.
The accident occurred on June 30 at approximately 05:10 in the Yunusabad district of the capital. According to preliminary data, the minors were street racing, and one of them crashed at full speed into a passing Chevrolet Lacetti. As a result, a woman died, and a four-year-old child and his grandmother were hospitalized in intensive care.
Earlier, it was reported that the KIA K5 may have been involved in a race before the collision.
