A school consultant in the Syrdarya region has been arrested for sending sexually explicit messages to a 16-year-old female student via Telegram, according to a report by the program "Bu kun."

It was revealed that the consultant initially contacted the girl under the pretext of asking her to help manage the school's social media page. However, he soon began sending her messages at night. After the girl stopped responding, he called her and suggested she come outside to meet him, thereby committing sexual acts against a minor.

"I just reacted to a message. At first, I didn't understand who it was and why they were writing to me. Then in the evening, he started writing again. No one had ever written to me like that before," the student said.

During the court hearing, the man pleaded not guilty and rejected the evidence presented. He claimed he never had any relationship with the student. "They say I confessed my love to her, but it's a misunderstanding. I have never dated any girl. I have three children myself," he stated in court. Later, he apologized to the student and her family.

The Shirin City Criminal Court found the man guilty of an offense under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Administrative Code of Uzbekistan (Sexual Harassment). He was sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest. Additionally, the court issued a private ruling to the Syrdarya Regional Department of Preschool and School Education, instructing them to take appropriate measures against the teacher.
