At a regular meeting of the Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis, a decision was made to convene the seventeenth plenary session of the Senate on July 9 of this year, according to the press service of the upper house of parliament.
The agenda of the plenary session includes a number of important issues related to the country's socio-economic development, public administration, construction, technical regulation, fire safety, pharmaceuticals, social protection, digital technologies, international cooperation, and legislative improvement.
Among them are the Constitutional Laws “On the Tashkent International Financial Center” and “On the International Center for Digital Technologies,” and the Law “On Social Work.”
The plenary session will also discuss laws concerning social protection of children, improving the system of social services for victims of harassment and violence, technical regulation, state control in construction, fire safety, state civil service, pharmaceuticals, and other areas.
In addition, senators will hear the National Report on improving Uzbekistan's positions in priority international ratings and indices.
Furthermore, the results of a parliamentary inquiry sent to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the quality of services provided by management service companies and homeowners' associations will be discussed.
