Tashkent, July 12 – A serious traffic accident occurred late at night in the Uchtepa district. At approximately 22:45 on Poygokh Street in the Izza mahalla, a 19-year-old driver of a Cobalt crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Nexia driven by a 39-year-old.

The impact caused the Cobalt to overturn and land on the sidewalk. Videos circulating on social media show the Cobalt lying on its side with severe body damage, while the Nexia sustained heavy front-end damage.

The Traffic Safety Department (UBDD) confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway. No casualties or injuries have been reported.

This accident follows a previous high-profile incident in Tashkent involving a Cobalt driver who grossly violated traffic rules and endangered others.
