The Uzbek side briefed on preparations for overseas employment, expansion of foreign labor markets, and measures to protect the rights of migrant workers.
Ambassador Henick emphasized that prospective workers should be informed in advance about working and living conditions, potential costs, support measures, and return timelines. He also stressed the importance of proper documentation and visa history checks.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation between the Migration Agency and the US Embassy's consular service, improve information exchange, and coordinate interviews with employers.
