A partial displacement of the roof structure occurred at the “Turon” station of the Tashkent Metro. The incident took place on July 16 at 14:34 local time.

Upon detection of the roof displacement, train traffic at the station was immediately halted to ensure passenger safety.

Two passengers sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. They received medical assistance on site.

Specialists are currently working at the scene, conducting technical inspections and repairing the damage.

To minimize inconvenience for passengers, free metro buses have been launched between the “Kipchak” and “Kuruvchilar” stations.

The Tashkent Metro apologized to passengers for the temporary disruptions and emphasized that human safety remains the top priority.

It is worth recalling that since July 15, due to abnormal heat in Tashkent, the train operation mode on the overground metro line has been temporarily changed: speed limits and increased intervals between trains.
