In the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, construction and landscaping work has begun to transform Yangishahar Street into a tourist zone.

The street is planned to host round-the-clock retail outlets and service enterprises. A comfortable and safe environment will be created for pedestrians and tourists.

The project aims to increase the district's attractiveness and create new jobs. Upon completion, Yangishahar is expected to become one of the capital's busiest public spaces.

The timeline and cost of the project have not yet been disclosed. Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan would update its urban planning rules and open a park of urbanism.
