TASHKENT, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. After the Ministry of Energy announced the introduction of two-hour power supply restrictions to prevent major accidents in the energy system, many residents wondered whether a schedule of outages would appear. As the ministry told a Podrobno.uz correspondent, it is impossible to draw up such a schedule in advance.

The Ministry of Energy explained that the specific time for imposing restrictions is determined by dispatch services separately for each district, taking into account the current operating mode of the electrical networks and the actual operational situation.

When making decisions, specialists analyze in real time the load on the network, the condition of equipment, the capacity of power lines and transformers. The main task is to prevent overloading and overheating of equipment, which can lead to technological disruptions and more widespread outages, while maintaining the stable operation of the power system.

The ministry also told how consumers will be informed. As dispatch decisions are made, territorial electricity supply enterprises will publish relevant messages on their official channels.

At the same time, under conditions of high load on the power system, the time, duration and volume of possible restrictions may be promptly adjusted depending on changes in the network operating mode. That is why information will be published as relevant decisions are made, and not in advance.

Recall that earlier the Ministry of Energy explained the frequent power outages by abnormal heat and record load on the power system. To prevent major accidents, temporary power supply restrictions of up to two hours have been introduced in some regions of the country.
