According to the Uzbekistan Hydrometeorological Service, unstable spring weather is expected in March.

On the first day of spring, most regions will experience warm and dry weather, with air temperatures ranging from +12…+17 degrees Celsius.

Starting March 2, moist air masses from the southwest will enter Uzbekistan. Rain is forecast across the republic, with precipitation in the form of rain and snow in mountainous areas.

Until the end of the first ten-day period of the month, precipitation will be periodic: occasional rain on plains, and rain and snow in the mountains. During this period, air temperatures are expected to be between +10…+15 degrees Celsius, with possible drops to +6…+9 degrees on some days.

In the second and third ten-day periods of March, temperature fluctuations are anticipated: at night from +3…+8 degrees to +8…+13 degrees, and during the day up to +12…+17 degrees. Cold spells will be short, while warm periods will be prolonged.

In the history of meteorological observations, March 2008 and 2023 were recorded as the warmest — temperatures then exceeded climatic norms by 5–8 degrees. Overall, the highest temperature recorded in March was +30…+35 degrees in most of the republic, and +35…+37 degrees in southern regions.
