Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Nurafshon Special Equipment enterprise in the city of Nurafshan, Tashkent region.

The head of state inspected the production processes, finished products, and modern technological solutions at the plant.

The enterprise is located on an area of 25.8 hectares, with a total project cost of $50 million. The plant produces special and military equipment, as well as various mechanisms under the KRANTAS brand. The production uses equipment from the US, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Russia, China, and Turkey, and employs over 300 qualified specialists.

To date, the company has produced about 2,500 tons of metal structures, more than 300 vehicle superstructures, over 200 chassis, and 20 tractors. Last year, products worth 275 billion soums were delivered to customers.

The enterprise continues to expand the production of import-substituting products. As part of these plans, another plant will be built in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent on an area of 10 hectares. The launch of the new site will allow localization of equipment production worth $15–18 million per year. In a conversation with engineers and management, the president called for focusing on expanding industrial cooperation and producing high value-added products.

Recall that in Nurafshan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also familiarized himself with the work of the state university Cyber University and laid the first stone for the construction of a large-scale Center for Future Technologies.
