A special car rollover simulator has been installed on the territory of the Tashkent bus station as part of the campaign 'Road Culture – Key to Safe Life'. The device is designed to give drivers a hands-on experience of what happens during a vehicle rollover and how seat belts protect occupants.
The simulator consists of a car mounted on a rotating platform that flips it upside down. Participants sit inside, fasten their seat belts, and experience the rollover in a controlled environment. This dramatic demonstration aims to highlight the critical role of seat belts in preventing injuries and saving lives.
The campaign is organized by the Adolat Party, the Tashkent City Road Safety Department, the City Association of Mahallas, and the Transport Department. Organizers emphasize that the initiative is part of broader efforts to reduce road accidents and improve driver behavior across Uzbekistan.
One participant admitted that he previously did not always wear a seat belt on short trips. After undergoing the simulator test, he said he now fully understands the importance of buckling up and vowed to never neglect it again.
The organizers plan to hold similar demonstrations in other regions of the country, aiming to reach as many drivers as possible with this powerful safety message.
Earlier, it was reported that in Andijan, a driver without documents ignored a traffic police officer's demand, lost control of his vehicle, and crashed into a roadside store.
