By presidential decree, Saida Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva, head of the presidential administration, has been appointed as the head of the Tashkent International Financial Center (TIFC) on a part-time basis, retaining her current position. The news was announced by presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

According to the statement, the head serves as the chief secretary of the Financial Center Council, organizes the formation of the agenda, and chairs meetings in the absence of the chairman. This role is crucial for coordinating the center's activities.

Coordinating the launch of the financial center's operations will be one of the key areas of the head's work. This includes preparing priority documents and establishing cooperation between government bodies and the center's structures.

Furthermore, the head represents the center in relations with international organizations, investors, and partners in Uzbekistan and abroad. She participates in personnel decisions, including the appointment of the executive director of the financial center's administration and their deputies, as well as providing recommendations on the leadership of the financial services department.

The head also has the right to conclude transactions, create working groups, and attract experts. Recall that in July, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a constitutional law on the Tashkent International Financial Center. The center operates under special legal and currency regimes, a separate financial regulator, and an independent commercial court, with tax incentives for its participants until 2076.
