On September 10, Embraer presented the first C-390 Millennium aircraft for the Air Force of Uzbekistan. Thus, Uzbekistan became the first customer of the C-390 in Central Asia. Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan would be the first in Central Asia to begin operating the C-390 Millennium.

The C-390 will be used for transport and humanitarian missions. It is expected that the aircraft will enhance the capabilities of Uzbekistan's military transport aviation and contribute to the modernization of the country's Air Force. This step is seen as a significant boost to the nation's defense capabilities.

It is noted that the fleet of these aircraft has a mission success rate of over 99%, demonstrating high performance in its class. To date, the aircraft has been selected by the air forces of 11 countries worldwide, including eight European states and seven NATO member countries.

The C-390 Millennium is capable of carrying up to 26 tons of payload, exceeding the performance of other medium-class military transport aircraft. It reaches speeds of up to 470 knots (about 870 km/h) and is capable of long-range flights.

The aircraft is designed for a wide range of tasks, including transport and airdrop of cargo and troops, medical evacuation, search and rescue operations, firefighting, and humanitarian missions. This multi-role platform will significantly improve Uzbekistan's emergency response capabilities and participation in international humanitarian operations.
