As part of the international EXPO exhibition to be held in Serbia in 2027, 1,000 construction jobs are being offered to Uzbek citizens. The announcement was made via the Telegram channel “Xorijda ish” of the Migration Agency.
Candidates are being recruited for work at construction sites and production facilities within the exhibition. Specifically, there are 500 vacancies for electricians and another 500 for concrete workers. The monthly salary for electricians ranges from €1,000 to €1,500. Candidates must be aged 25–45, have 1–3 years of work experience, and possess relevant qualifications, including a grade certification.
For concrete workers, the salary is set at €700–1,200 per month. Qualified workers aged 18–45 with 1–3 years of experience are accepted. Candidates must understand cement grades and know concrete vibration technology.
Both positions are based in Belgrade, Serbia, on a permanent basis. Working hours are 40 per week, 5 days a week. The employer provides accommodation and meals, as well as social protection and medical insurance. General requirements include basic or conversational knowledge of Russian or English and good health for performing labor activities.
Employment is formalized through an official labor contract and a work visa. Hiring decisions are made based on qualifications, work experience, and employer requirements. It is noted that there are also separate positions for construction and electrical engineers with higher education and relevant experience, with salaries starting from €1,500 per month.
