The Abdulla Qahhor House-Museum in Tashkent will suspend its operations from September 21 to December 31, 2025, due to repair, restoration, and modernization works in the building, which is managed by the Cultural Heritage Agency. The news was reported by Podrobno.uz.

During the renovation period, measures will be taken to remove museum exhibits from display while ensuring all necessary safety precautions. The preservation of items stored in the museum's funds will be guaranteed, and they will be securely placed in specially equipped rooms. Furthermore, all museum items from the Abdulla Qahhor House-Museum will be temporarily relocated to the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan with the involvement of invited specialists.

After the completion of the repair and restoration works, the museum items will be fully returned to the House-Museum in compliance with all necessary safety measures. The relocation and subsequent return of the exhibits will be carried out in accordance with the procedure established by law, based on relevant acceptance and transfer acts.

Once the renovation and modernization works are completed, the Abdulla Qahhor House-Museum will resume its activities. The museum administration apologizes for any temporary inconvenience and notes that the updated exhibition will reopen to visitors after all works are finished.
